August 2022 Ministering Handouts

Hey everyone!  Happy August!  Can you believe it?  Our grandkids are going to be back in school in a couple of weeks!!  Whaaat???  Where did the summer go?

Sometimes I can be a little bit of a broken record, when it comes to back to school time.  I have such a strong testimony about education and developing our talents.  And every year at this time, I start thinking about these things.

July 2022 Ministering Handouts

Happy July everyone!  Hope your summer is going great!  For me, it is going just a little too fast!  We have our second grandson going on a mission!  He enters home MTC on July 4th!  So it is right around the corner!  Then I have several things going on in July and school starts the middle of August!! Wow!!

This month for the July Ministering Handouts, I went with a patriotic theme.  I love Americana decor all summer long!

June 2022 Ministering Handout

I would like to welcome summer with my June 2022 Ministering Handout!

It does not feel like summer yet, here in Utah.  We have had rain and even snow up in the mountains this week.  But we really need the moisture, so nobody is complaining!

Because I grew up in Pleasant Grove, UT, I always think of strawberries in June!  Our town celebrations were called Strawberry Days.  I have some fond memories of my grandpa Jensen coming from Canada and taking us to the carnival…and always buying us a bowl of strawberries and cream!

Thus the handout idea for this month!

February 2022 Ministering Handouts

As we enter the month of Love, I hope that each of us will always remember the Savior’s love for each one of us individually, selectively and uniquely.  He is always there and he wants us to turn to him.  We all need him and he is there waiting for us.

But he has also commanded us to Love one Another as he loves us.  The message this month actually comes from a “Friend to Friend “ interview given in 2006 from Sister Cheryl C. Lant.

I love the new year!  It is a fresh new page to the story we are going to write in 2022.  Do you like to set goals?  I like to make goals that I can work on all year or that I can continue working on from year to year.  How about you?

December 2021 Ministering Handout

Welcome to December…the most wonderful time of the year!!  Do all of you feel that way? I  love December in the fact that we all turn to Christ and think of others more.  We need to  do that all year long, but I love the fact that we have a whole month dedicated to Him!

For the December 2021 Ministering Handout this month, I chose a talk from President Thomas S. Monson titled, “The Best Christmas Ever”.
