My neighbor gave me some fresh blackberries from her garden, so I decided to try making a Blackberry Nectarine Cobbler! It was so delicious! I loved the tartness of the fruit with the sweetness of the crumble topping and the creamy whipped cream…Pure Heaven!
I hope that you all had a great weekend. It rained here all weekend…but that is okay because we need the water. I did not have to go out and water all of my pots, so that was a bonus! We have had two of our grandsons staying here with us and they have been so fun to have. I will give you a recap of what we have done in the next post!

One of my finds at Swiss Days this year was a baguette bread pan from the Food Nanny! I have been making baguette bread on a cookie sheet and it works fine, but the baguette pan gives your bread the rounded bottom and it put the design of the holes on the bottom! I am not sure what it is about the Autumn time…that just makes me want to start baking again! Maybe it is just the fact the air is cooler now and so I feel like I can turn my oven on again, or that the kids are back in school and I get myself back into somewhat of a routine too, but whatever it is that gets me going, I am thankful for it…because I really do love to bake!
