I hope that you all had a great weekend. It rained here all weekend…but that is okay because we need the water. I did not have to go out and water all of my pots, so that was a bonus! We have had two of our grandsons staying here with us and they have been so fun to have. I will give you a recap of what we have done in the next post!
Today I have a great
(recipe, if you can really call it that!)
way to make easy Rosemary Garlic Parmesan Rolls!
Last Sunday, for Easter, I decided that I would make a Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert. It was only my husband and I because we had had the whole family the week before. I am trying to be good with what I eat and I only try to have sugar one day a week. I made the whole thing from scratch and my mouth was watering, this was going to be a real treat for us!
But this is how it turned out!: Continue reading
Do you need a fun recipe for your Valentine’s Day dinner? Perhaps you would like to make a sweet treat for that special someone! Here is a fun spin on an old recipe! I made mini cheesecake bites and the best part…the crust is refrigerated cookie dough! Continue reading
I had a really fun sleepover/baking class for my granddaughters the other day. They loved it and it turned out to be a really fun time for everyone! Continue reading
Here is a fun little idea that you could make for your family on Valentines Day for breakfast…or I would dare say that they would love them any day of the year! :)
These are super easy to make and they make something ordinary into something super ordinary! Continue reading
Today I have some fall yumminess! I don’t think that is a word, but we will pretend…Okay? Just the title says how good these are going to be! Continue reading
For our Halloween party that we did a couple of days ago, I made some baked pumpkin cake doughnuts and they turned out delicious! These doughnuts were moist and with the cinnamon/sugar coating they had just the right amount of sweetness! Continue reading
One of my finds at Swiss Days this year was a baguette bread pan from the Food Nanny! I have been making baguette bread on a cookie sheet and it works fine, but the baguette pan gives your bread the rounded bottom and it put the design of the holes on the bottom! Purely, cosmetic, but oh so fun! Continue reading
I am not sure what it is about the Autumn time…that just makes me want to start baking again! Maybe it is just the fact the air is cooler now and so I feel like I can turn my oven on again, or that the kids are back in school and I get myself back into somewhat of a routine too, but whatever it is that gets me going, I am thankful for it…because I really do love to bake! And It just is not fall without recipes that call for pumpkin, apples, or caramel!
I don’t know about you, but in the summertime when it is hot, I don’t really like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking meals…so I always like to stock my pantry, so that I can usually pull a meal together in no time at all! Really I like to have my pantry stocked all of the time, but for some reason I tend to do it better in the summer time!
I decided that for my post today I would share a pantry shopping list that I put together:
