I love this time of year when we think more about others and we have gratitude in our hearts for all that we have been blessed with.  There is much to be thankful for this Christmas season.  Look around you today and see if there is someone you can help…even it is with a friendly smile, letting someone in line in front of you, paying it forward to someone, doing a service to someone in need, or a million other things that I am sure you can think of!

Hope You Have a Great Weekend!

Christmas Traditions

Today I thought that it might be fun to share some of our Christmas Traditions!   This is a lengthy post, but you have all weekend…right? :)

But before I start this post…I would like to wish everyone a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving weekend!  I hope that you get to do something that you love with people that you love!

One of our Christmas traditions that we do is to donate blankets and quilts to one of our local hospitals.  We start this in November or even before.  I try to make a few quilted quilts and then we all tie several fringed fleece blankets. (click on link for tutorial on how to make these easy fleece blankets)

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope that your holidays are filled with the true spirit of Christmas.

I wanted to share this little 2 minute video clip from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  To me…this is the true meaning of Christmas and Christ truly is the “Gift!”

What gifts do we have to give back to Christ?  I hope that you can think of one gift that you want to give Him this Christmas Season and that you will keep giving that gift all year long!

May your Christmas holidays be filled with peace, hope and love, is my wish for each of you!  May you get to spend time with those that you love!

Thanks for visiting and Happy Holidays!
