Sour Cream Lemon Pie with Pecan Crust

My husband and I used to go to Marie Calendar’s when there was one near our home and I would ALWAYS order a slice of sour cream lemon pie for dessert.  But since there are not any MC restaurants nearby anymore…I decided that I would try to make a  copy of that pie that I loved so much!sour cream lemon pie with pecan crust Continue reading

Frosted Marshmallow Brownies

I hope that everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend!  We had rain ALL day on Saturday,  (which we need, so it was great!) it was a perfect day to stay inside and work on some of my sewing projects!  Then the sun came out on Sunday and it was a beautiful day!

I hope that you all got to enjoy your weekend and spend some time with those that you love!

I used to make these brownies a lot when my kids were younger and I have not made them for years now…but I thought that they would be a great treat for my “Sugar Sunday”. (I am trying to only eat sugar one day a week and it is on Sunday, so my friend and I have started calling it “Sugar Sunday!)frosted marshmallow brownies

Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn

Last month when my husband and I were in Arizona at the baseball park, we bought a bag of kettle corn.  It was so good with the sweet and salty and I have been craving it again.  So I got online and found a recipe (I cannot remember where this recipe came from, so I cannot give credit where credit is due!)  There are several recipes and they are all very similar.  I was very pleasantly surprised to find out how easy it is to make and it only has 4 ingredients!  All of which I have on hand!kettle corn

But this is how it turned out!:lemon pie flop Continue reading
