Be Still My Soul

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope that today is a good day for you and that you are happy!

I have been singing “Be Still My Soul” in my head…

(but I like the way David Archuleta sings it better!)

and just decided to share it with you:

This song brings such a sweet peace and sometimes we just have to tell ourselves to be still and allow the Savior to calm our souls!

We need to have patience in our grief and pain and remember that their is a new dawn coming.  That is not easy to do…but I am so glad that I am surrounded by my family and friends and my beliefs that help me when I need it!

There is a line in this song that gives us great hope…

Thru thorny ways leads to a joyful end.”

We all have thorny ways in our journey through life, but they will help to lead us to a joyful end!

Heavenly Father is in charge and he knows what the future will bring, we need to have faith and trust in Him.

I hope that today you will have peace in your mind and joy in your heart!  All we need to do is look around us and count all of our many, many, MANY blessings that we have…then soon  gratitude will fill our hearts and we should be able to find joy!  There are many people out in the world that are suffering in so many different ways that it is impossible to even imagine what they have to go through every single day.  Yet, they find the strength to go on and to go forward.  This helps me to know that I too can go forward and that I am never alone!

So for at least today, I hope that you can say:  BE STILL MY SOUL and allow that sweet peace into your heart.

Thanks for Visiting
