St. Paddy’s Candy Countdown

Today I have a fun St. Paddy’s Day Candy Countdown in shop! St-Paddy's-Day-Countdown-005-sample
St. Paddy’s Day Countdown

Have fun counting down the days to St. Patrick’s Day!  Fill the advent calendar with gold coins, gold-foiled Rolo’s, Gold foil Nuggets or wrapped kisses!  There are 5 different pages, so you can print one for each member of your family!

This includes both JPEG and PDF formats for easy printing at home or sending out to your favorite photo processing center.  It is formatted to an 8 x 10″ size.  For best color quality, you might opt to print the JPEG as a photo.

You can either frame or laminate your print, or another fun idea is to display on a clipboard that has been decorated with coordinating ribbons and stand on an easel.  Attach the coordinating treats…then let the countdown begin!

DID YOU KNOW?

There is a web site called:  Paddy not Patty!

Each and every year millions of Irish, Irish-ish and amateur alcoholics are needlessly distracted from their Holy Tradition of drinking themselves into a stupor in honour of Saint Patrick and the wee island he adopted as home. They spit-take their libations—a shameful waste; they wring their flat caps; they clutch their camáin that little bit tighter; and the cailíní rua glow their familiar shade of rage.

The source of this terrible distraction?

An onslaught of superficial, dyed-green references to Saint Patrick’s Day as Patty’s Day. Like nails on a chalkboard. It gnaws at them. It riles them up. It makes them want to fight… you know, more than usual.

IT’S PADDY, NOT PATTYEVER.
SAINT PATRICK’S DAY? GRAND.
PADDY’S DAY? SURE, DEAD-ON.
ST. PAT’S? IF YE MUST.
ST. PATTY? NO, YE GOAT!

Just thought you might want to know!

Do you need another St. Patrick’s day idea…how about

Don’t Eat Lucky

Don’t Eat Lucky

Here is a fun St. Patrick’s Day version of the Don’t Eat Pete Game…Don’t Eat Lucky.  This is fun for kids of all ages because it is played with candy! This is great for school parties, FHE, St. Patrick’s parties or activity days!

And if you need a fun treat for the big GREEN Holiday…How about these

Famous Mint Brownies!

They are a favorite of our family…I think that I need to make these right away!  :)

So now you have a few ideas to get you ready for this fun Irish holiday!  I think that it is fun to celebrate St. Paddy’s day, because it kind of gets passed over…but it is one more excuse to spoil the kids and grandkids! :)

May the Luck of the Irish be with You!

Thanks for visiting!
