Stitched Snowman Quilt

Here is a fun project that one of my my DIL’s did!

I love it, and since we have not had much snow here in Utah yet,  I love that this one is full of SNOW PEOPLE!  It has such a fun, whimsical feeling and who would not love to wrap up in this darling quilt on a “cold winters’ night?”

She started stitching the blocks last January and got it done in plenty of time for the holidays!  How cute is this?

Her stitching is absolutely beautiful!

The name of the quilt is: “Snowmen A to Zzzz”

Here is a close up of the A is for Angel block…darling!

To Zzzz!

She has done a beautiful job and now I  may just need to find a fun project like this to start in January!  It is a project that is done in blocks, so you can just take one block at a time and work on it while you are waiting at the Dr. offfice, for carpool, for kids practices, at the park, in front of the TV…well, you get the idea.

I want to thank her for sharing it with us!

Here is where you can find the pattern.

It is a Crab-Apple Hill pattern.  They have so many cute ones that it is sometimes hard to decide which one I want to do next!

So who is ready for a project to start in January?

I know that I am!

Happy Winter Everyone!  Love Ya!

  1. My friend from our local quilt guild did this same pattern, but in all red thread (redwork). It turned out beautiful! I like the colorful one your friend did too!

  2. Do they make this pattern in ART form for machine embroidery I love the look of the quilt but doing it all by hand I don’t think I’d ever get it done. Beautiful quilt!

    1. Andrea, I have no idea if this pattern is in Art form. It is a Crab-Apple Hill pattern, so you could Google it or contact the company to see if they make it. Hope this helps!

    1. Tanya, the pattern is from Crabapple Hill Studio, the name of the quilt is “Snowmen A to Zzzz”. Good luck with your project!

  3. I have the blocks all embroidered, but I don’t have the instructions on how to stitch it all together. The blocks look like they need to be cut down to fit. Do you have instructions that you could email to me?

    1. Heidi, I did not make this quilt my DIL did. When I click on the link to the pattern, it says that it is no longer available. This post is 8 years old, sorry I cannot help you more. Good luck with your project!
