Ingredients
  1. 2 cups chocolate chips or melting chocolate
  2. 1 cup whole almonds
  3. 1 cup freeze dried strawberries
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread almonds on a baking sheet and place in oven for 5 minutes. Remove baking sheet from oven and stir almonds, return to oven for another 3-5 minutes or until almonds are slightly darker in color. Remove from oven and let cool.
  2. Place chocolate in a microwavable bowl and place in microwave for 1 minute at 50 % power. Stir and keep heating in 15 seconds intervals until completely melted. (Be careful to not burn chocolate)
  3. Reserve 1/8 cup each, of the strawberries and the almonds, set aside. Mix the rest of the almonds and the strawberries into the chocolate and stir until coated. Spread the candy out on a cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper or waxed paper. Quickly sprinkle the remaining strawberries and almonds on the top. I pressed them into the chocolate a bit. Let chocolate harden and break into pieces
Notes
  1. You can find freeze dried strawberries in the food storage aisle of your grocery store, or at Trader Joe's.

  1. My mouth is watering. LOL Hurry, hurry, give it away. Save yourself. You want my address? Where did you purchase those darling little boxes?

    1. Bev, Ha Ha! I cannot remember for sure where I got those boxes, but I am thinking at Gygi’s. I am sure they would have some at any paper supply place. Hope you have a wonderful day. Rita

    1. Saundra, I toasted my almonds, they are not raw to begin with, they are just whole almonds that are not salted. Hope this helps. This bark is one of my most favorite ones! I cannot make it, unless I have lots of people here to help me eat it or I will eat the entire batch! :)
