Halloween Panel Pillows

I made these fun Halloween Panel Pillows from fabric that I bought this summer in a fun fabric shop in Las Vegas, called the Christmas Goose.  I added couple of borders to each panel  and came up with these envelope pillow covers!Halloween panel pillowsEach of the pillow fronts are a panel that I just cut around.panel Halloween PillowsOn this first pillow, I added the purple star border, (it looks blue here, but is really a pretty Halloween purple color!)  Then I added another border with scrap pieces.  I love the scrappy border, but I am a quilter, so I guess that is why!Halloween panel pillowI love the poem on this pillow by Edgar Allan Poe.  I simply added the polka dot border and the orange print border.  This pillow has enough going on the the pillow that I wanted to keep the borders pretty simple.Halloween panel pillowsI love the sentiment on this pillow, I added a couple of borders on this pillow that had a little more detail in the print because this pillow is pretty simple in the panel print.  I made all of these into an envelope pillow cover so I can take the pillow out when it comes time to store them!  I was able to just buy a cheap bed pillow to insert into each of the pillow envelopes!  They are so easy to make, if you want a tutorial on how to make pillow covers click here.Outdoor Halloween panel pillowsSo these are my Halloween Panel Pillows.  They were simple to make and I don’t feel bad about them being outside on this bench.  I sprayed a water proofing spray on them to help protect them from the weather.  I love the color that they add to this bench that is outside in my courtyard.  They welcome any visitors that come to our home!

Do you have any fun panel prints that you don’t know what to do with?  It is really easy to make them into pillows!

Hope you are having a great day!  Thanks for Visiting!

    1. Beth, I just used a waterproofing spray that I got at a shoe store. It says that it could be used on fabric. You could use scotchgard, or any other product that says it is for fabric. Hope this helps.
