Witch Boots Table Runner

Hey everyone, today I have my first Halloween Project!  I realize that this is early, but decided to post it now in case any of you out there want to make one, you will have plenty of time to get it done!  I bought this as a kit at one of my local quilt shops but I have seen the pattern around in several different quilt stores.

Isn’t this just the cutest!!!!

I love the big ric-rac, black lace and the orange buttons on the shoes!

Doesn’t this make you want to decorate for Halloween already?

The name of this pattern is:  Ms. Bindweed’s Boots.  Isn’t that a great name?

It is a “Sew Much Good” pattern and you can find it here.

Ms. Bindweed is kicking up her heels at both ends of the table and she will make everyone smile come Halloween.

    1. Thank you so much for that kind comment. I hope that it encourages you to learn how to sew, because there are so many darling things out there to make! Good luck in your sewing endeavors! :)

  2. I’m sure you’ve heard this already, but this is seriously adorable! I love it! Would you consider linking it up to our All Things Thursday Blog Hop this week? We’d love to have you join us! Have a super week!

  3. I bought this pattern and fabric today. Yours turned out so cute! I can’t wait to finish mine. I have one question for you. I can’t find anywhere in the pattern how wide the table runner should be. How wide is yours? Maybe I’m blind, but I couldn’t find a width anywhere. Thanks!

    1. You fold your fabric in half right sides together and sew the length of your runner. So it forms a long tube, then you turn it right side out and press with the seam going down the middle. So it is basically half the width of your cut fabric, the finished size is about 15.5 inches wide. I did not have to do the seam in the middle of my table runner, because I did a shorter version to fit my sofa table. So I just sewed the length that I needed. It tells you at the end of the pattern how to measure for your length of table. I hope this helps! Good Luck!

  4. Thank you for your quick response. I figured out what I did wrong. I sewed the wrong sides together and then when I made the tube, it was 22″ wide instead of 15.5″. This is part of the reason why I don’t sew! Grrrrr! So frustrating! Lol!

  5. Unable to find any way to order this pattern. Will not be using this website and will be tell my crafties, thanks.
