Two Easy Holiday Tips

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Rock-it Oil. All opinions are 100% mine.

Today I have two helpful tips to make your holidays easier!  Do the hustle and bustle of the holidays leave your kitchen in need of a pick-me-up?  Do you need an idea for a great party food or a wonderful dinner that everyone will love?  Well I have an answer to both of these questions!

I made some thin crust pizzas for the holidays and it leaves such a mess on my countertop with all of the flour, olive oil and water all mixed in there together.  But using this Rock-It-Oil Stone spray on the countertops…cleanup was a breeze!

Experience The Goodness of Fall with P.F. Chang’s

This post brought to you by P.F. Chang’s. All opinions are 100% mine.

At P.F. Chang’s, guests are surrounded by a unique, modern environment combining influences of Asian and American cultures.   And now, the Goodness of Fall is fresh for the tasting at P.F. Chang’s with their new Fall Seasonal Menu.

Fall Seasonal Menu

The one menu item that really caught my eye was the Vietnamese Noodles with Steak and Shrimp!  I am a shrimp girl, so I would love to try this one out real soon.  The Citrus Mustard Prawns also look yummy!  And of course I would want to try the Pumpking Dessert Wantons, or the Apple Dessert Wontons!

P.F. Chang’s is also hosting the Goodness of Fall Contest,

Parmesan Crusted Salmon

This recipe that I have today has become one of our all-time favorites!

I have not always been a big fish eater, but lately I have fallen in love with the salmon fillets from Costco.  They are individually frozen, so I can just take out what I need.  They always taste so good because they are each wrapped separately and it really preserves their freshness.  I love this recipe because another one of my food loves is… Parmesan cheese!

Chocolate Syrup Cake

I remember making this cake many years ago.  It is a very rich, moist, cake…just the way I love cake to be!  It also has a cooked, ganache-type icing that is irresistable!

I have not made it for a long time, but when I saw a post somewhere out there in blog land, it reminded me of how much I used to love it and  I decided to make  it again… and it did not disappoint!

I usually do not make cake unless I know that I will have others here to help eat it, because my husband and I cannot eat a whole cake.  But with this cake we both could not get enough and I found that we were keeping track of who had eaten a piece!  You definitely cannot eat just one piece-I dare you to try!
