40 Day Conference Reading Challenge Starts Today!

Today is the day!

The 40 day conference reading challenge starts today!  I hope that you are all on board and that you have your conference magazines ready to go.  The talk for today is a great way to start.  It is on page 134, they spoke to us,  titled “Making Conference Part of Our Lives”.  There is a section for children, youth, and adults.  It is a great way to get others involved with you and your reading program!

If you are wondering what I am talking about, click the link here, 40 Day Conference Challenge-April 2015 Conference.  You will find a printable bookmark with a reading schedule to read all of the conference talks for, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in 40 days!  You will finish the Sunday before the October General Conference.40 day conference reading-April 2015Tomorrow we will read President’s Monson’s talk on “Blessings of the Temple”, so we are going to be off to a great start!

The kids in our area start school today also, so this perfect timing for those mothers with kids in school.  You might be able to find a few minutes to read and study while the kids are away to school!  I can hardly believe that the summer is fast coming to an end…where does the time go?  I have a little standing joke with my sister…when our kids were younger, we would call each other on the first day of school and wish each other a “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!”  :)  So in honor of traditions gone by I decided to make this fun sign for all you mothers out there with school age children:Happy-(unofficial)-Mother's-Day-000-Page-1You know you love it!  Even though I was always a little bit sad to get back into the routine of school…it was also a happy day!  :)

Thanks for Visiting.  Happy Reading!
