Today I have a fun Sew Together Bag that I want to show you!
I ordered this pattern several months ago and I have even had the fabric for awhile, but have just not taken the time to sew it together until now…but now I am kind of hooked on making these darling bags and have made two of them and have the supplies to make several more! I am a little bit crazy like that! :)
I made a hipster bag back in May and my granddaughter and her friend decided that they wanted to make one, so we got some fabric and these two cute girls went to work. We ended up doing part of them one day and finishing them the next week! Here is what their Hipster Bags looked like:
On our recent trip to Waco, Texas, I found a darling little quilt shop that I visited, called “Simply Fabrics”. I found this cute “Sassy Little Apron” pattern and decided that I “needed it”. It is an easy to sew pattern and it has a very flattering fit! Continue reading
When we were planning my dad’s 90th birthday party, he said that his favorite color was blue, so we used blue and yellow to decorate with. I decided at the last minute to make a Blue Turning Twenty Quilt for him! I did this quilt with blue and cream and I was able to find all of the fabric at a local quilt shop called “Broadbents”. I found this darling quilt panel a couple of months ago when we were in St. George, Utah. I fell in love with the “glamper” fabric and knew right away that I wanted to make a “Glamper Quilt” for summer picnics, afternoons at the park and to take to the ballgames! Continue reading
I am working on a new makeover for my front porch area and I decided that it would be fun to make a Bloom Applique Picture to go with the new furniture and decor! Continue reading
I love this Welcome Spring Bench Pillow! It is full of wonderful spring colors and it just makes me happy! Continue reading
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend and that you enjoyed the 40 day conference reading challenge! I know I did…and I am excited for conference weekend this next weekend!
I made this fun Appliqued Zippered Pouch from some of my Lori Holt fabric and I am loving the way that it turned out! This is a darling retro bag that can be used for many things. Continue reading
Today I want to show you my Bloom Quilt-Row 2.
I have been busy doing my spring cleaning all last week and the first part of this week…I only have one more closet to go and I am finished!!!! Hurray!
I feel like a new woman.
The one closet that I have left is a BIG MESS! It is my craft closet in my office and my granddaughter got in that closet the other day and she informed me that it was a mess and needed to be cleaned. I thanked her for that information and told her that I would need her help to clean it out! :) She is such a sweetheart and agreed that she would!
But I did get row 2 of my Bloom quilt done and put together: Continue reading
I have another sewing project today…this fun Pieced Chick Easter Quilt! This is from the Lori Holt Vintage Farm Girl book. Continue reading
