Jan 2020 Ministering Post
Happy New year to everyone! I love this time of year when we can reflect on the last year and look forward to a new upcoming year! The possibilities are endless of what we can do and what changes we can make!
I am not a real big goal setter, but I am big on getting a little better organized for the new year. I seem to do “New Year ” cleaning instead of spring cleaning ! It is the perfect time to go through closets and decorations and purge through the old things!
So I decided to go with the scripture from D & C 88 for this month’s thought:For those of you that would like to print a jpeg image, right click over image. Go to “save image as” then save in a folder. You can print from there or send it out to your favorite photo printing service. All images are formatted to a 4 x 6 size.
All of my images are for personal use only….they are not for resale! Here is the blank card for those of you that would like to translate. Or if you need a fun handout, card or note!
I thought it would be fun to pair a great smelling dish soap with a crocheted dishcloth for my handout. (It goes with getting organized and clean!)One of my friends gave me a crocheted dishcloth for Christmas and I had forgotten how much I love these! I asked for the pattern and I am now going to share it with you! This is a square dishcloth with a border around the edges. This pattern is for those that already know how to do basic stitches. If you do not know basic stitches, you will want to google crochet stitches before you begin.
Use a cotton yarn. I used the Sugar and Cream brand. I used a size G-4.25 MM hook.
You can also print this on a 4 x 6 card to keep for future references.

This is my Jan 2020 Ministering Handout. I hope that you enjoy.
Please remember…as always…it is your sisters that are important…not the handout!
Make sure the sisters you visit know how much you love and care about them!
Thanks for visiting…Happy Ministering!

Thank you for this lovely handout and the dishcloth pattern. I usually knit them but would like to try to crochet them. What size hook do you use? Again thank you for your wonderful messages and the time to give us something so special for the sisters we minister!
Beth, I usually knit mine too, but decided to try this pattern. It is a lot faster than knitting them. I use a size G-4.25 MM hook. I forgot to write that in there! Thanks for the heads up! I will go back into the post and add that! Good luck if you try this pattern. It really is simple with just a couple of different stitches. Hope you have a wonderful new year…Happy ministering!
