It is already time for the August 2021 Ministering Handouts!
Every August, I get excited for all the back to school supplies. Is there anyone else out there that is the same way? I love all the new notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, and colored pencils. I have to see if there are any new items that I might NEED!
With that said, I decided to do the ministering handout around a quote from President Nelson about learning. This quote is from an article in the New Era: “Will You Choose to Increase in Learning?”
I am a firm believer in the saying, “There is no such thing as a wasted education”, everything we learn can be used to help us not only in this life, but in the next life too! We are promised that we will be able to remember all the things that we have learned! That is a great thing for me, because sometimes I can’t even remember what day it is! :)
Here is the message card. It is formatted to a 4 x 6 size. If you want to print it as a jpeg image, simply right click over the image. Go to “save image as”. Save in a folder, and you can print from there. Or you can send it out to your favorite photo processing center.
All of my images are for personal use only!!! They are not for resale. Also included, is the blank card. For those of you that would like to translate. Or, if you are in need of a cute card, note, handout or invitation. All you have to do is add your own wording! You can use these three tags to tie to a gift, or to make a notebook like I did!

A notebook for this month is appropriate for the “Learning” theme. You can simply cover a composition book, or a half composition book like I did here. You can find these books very inexpensively right now with all the school supplies. The half composition books are from Wal-mart.
All you do is cover front and back covers with scrapbook paper. Then decorate any way that you would like to. I also covered the inside covers and added pockets to the front cover like this:Here is a close-up.For the decorations, you can simply punch or cut out circles and hearts and layer them. Add a fun word and you have a great layout! Tie ribbons to the tags and insert them in the pockets. You could write a note to your sisters and let them know how much you care about them!
Now wish me luck, because I have 10 of these to make!! Good thing I enjoy crafting and I love all of the recipients of these books! :)
So these are my August 2021 Ministering Handouts. Hope you enjoy them!
Please remember, that it is not the handout that is important! It is the sisters that you visit, please make sure they know how much you love and care about them!
Thanks for Visiting! Happy Ministering!

Jan, You are welcome. Happy Ministering!
Rita, I tried to find the half composition book at Walmart and I can’t find them. I went on line to see what I could find. Do you happen to have a bar code or item # that I could put in to help me find them?
I have been using your messages for a few years and love what you do. Thank you for making me look good. It has your website listed and I don’t know why they don’t notice.
I appreciate your assistance.
IMPORTANT!!
Rita,
I just found the half composition books. I ordered and they said they only had one package left. So hopefully I’ll get it.
IMPORTANT!!
Rita, I found the half book composition and they only had one package left. Hopefully, they’ll send me an email when it is ready for pickup. I’ve ordered before for a different item and the said not in stock. I just had to go through more pages of their school supplies.
Thank you for being such a positive light. ♥️
Sandra, So glad you were able to find them. They only seem to have them with the back to school stuff and so I usually buy a couple of packages to last me through the year! Hopefully they will come! Good luck with your project. Happy Ministering!
