Nov 2024 Ministering Handout
Welcome to the month of Gratitude! Fall is finally in the air here in Utah and as a result I am a happy camper!
This month I chose gratitude for the theme!
And I concentrated on being grateful for a living prophet. I used the prophet’s talk that he just gave in the Oct 2024 General Conference. It is titled “The Lord Jesus Christ Will Come Again”. Didn’t you just LOVE this talk? I am so excited for when the Savior comes again…I just worry about what more we will have to go through before that happens! But President Nelson assures us that “The Best is Yet to Come!”
I loved the whole talk but especially the quote: “The best is yet to come, my dear brothers and sisters, because the Savior is coming again! The best is yet to come because the Lord is hastening His work. The best is yet to come as we fully turn our hearts and our lives to Jesus Christ.”
The Best is Yet to Come!
President Nelson offers us so much hope with this one quote! And I for one, am very excited about it! Yes, we all have work to do, but we can do it with hope going forward! Here is the message card for this month. It is formatted to a 4 x 6 size.
Those of you that would like to print the jpeg image, simply right click over image. Go to “save image as” then save in a folder of your choice. You can print your own for instance or send it out to your favorite photo processing center! This blank card is perfect for those of you that would like to translate. Or if you are in need of a cute fall card, note, invite or handout, this should work for you. Simply add your own text and you are good to go!
The instruction page is formatted to an 8.5 x 11 page. Each of the instructions are sized to 4 x 6 inches. Please be aware, that when I printed mine, I had to format my printer to turn on borderless printing or else the size was not big enough for my books.
Also included this month are some cute little tags that you could tie to something! And of course I had to add some blank ones!
To make these gratitude books, you will need a 4 x 6 note book. I found some sketch pads at Hobby Lobby for just a few dollars and they are perfect for journaling, sketching, doodling, or drawing! You can cover them with scrapbook paper and stickers or use ribbons and buttons…whatever floats your boat!
You can then print and cut out the instruction page and glue to the inside cover, and you are done! Easy Peasy!
Of course, you can do whatever your sisters might enjoy. But as always…please remember that it is your sisters that are important…not the handout! Make sure your sisters know how much you love and care about them!

Thanks so much for sharing your talents!
Just an idea–I printed the Journal cover on glossy sticker paper and it worked perfectly–just had to peel and stick!!
Debbie, Thank you for taking the time to share your brilliant idea! I love that! Hope you have a great day! Happy Ministering!
Thank you for always giving us wonderful messages and handouts for our ministering sisters.
I have a question, how did you Mitre the paper, so it looks nice on the inside.
Sandra, You are welcome. I did not mitre the paper. I simply cut it to the size of the notebook. I also inked the edges, but you do not have to do that if you don’t have an ink pad. Hope this helps. Happy Ministering!
Thanks again, Rita, for another ministering handout idea. The thoughts are always timely.
