Nov 2024 Ministering Handout

Welcome to the month of Gratitude!  Fall is finally in the air here in Utah and as a result I am a happy camper!

This month I chose gratitude for the theme! 

And I concentrated on being grateful for a living prophet.  I used the prophet’s talk that he just gave in the Oct 2024 General Conference.  It is titled “The Lord Jesus Christ Will Come Again”.   Didn’t you just LOVE this talk?  I am so excited for when the Savior comes again…I just worry about what more we will have to go through before that happens!  But President Nelson assures us that “The Best is Yet to Come!”

Sept 2024 Ministering Handout

Happy September everyone!  Are you ready for fall?  I know I am.  We have had a very hot summer and I am ready for a cool down!  

This month I found a fun little item at Trader Joe’s and knew that I wanted to use it in my ministering handout.  It is gummy Bacon and Eggs…and no they do not taste like bacon and eggs, they are cherry and mango!  They are sooo yummy! Continue reading →

August 2024 Ministering Handout

Well, here we are “Rollin’ into August!  Where does the time go?  I guess it just flies by when you are having fun, right?! 

August is always a busy month with back to school, last minute vacations, canning, and yard work, but I love it!  I have been having fun with my yard this year with the flowers that I planted from seeds in my greenhouse last winter.  I have learned a lot and it seems like gardening is a lot of trial and error…but that is what is fun about it! July 2024 Ministering Handout

Happy July everyone!  Hope your summer is going great!  We are HOT here is Utah, but what do we expect when we live in a desert?!

I love July because we get to celebrate the freedom of our country on the 4th and we also get to celebrate the Pioneers coming to Utah on the 24th!  Two fantastic reasons to celebrate!  I have my flags out in my flower pots,

I am waving my star quilt in my house,

Another month has already gone by, which means it is time for the May 2024 Ministering Handout.

Well…hello new year! 

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas season, and you are now ready for a NEW YEAR!  I love new beginnings and new possibilities!  It seems like a great way to start out a new year!  In a world filled with despair and wickedness, with problems and pain, we should strive more than ever to have hope.

Dec 2023 Ministering Handout

Happy Holidays everyone! 

Hope all is well and you are filled with the Christmas spirit! 

Our family is getting started with our annual Sinter Klaas Party the first weekend of December.  It is always a fun way to welcome in the Christmas season.  This tradition started after our oldest son came home from his mission to The Netherlands and we have been doing it ever since!  We have had to change up what we do to adjust for the ages of our grandchildren, but everyone seems to love it and we don’t have to compete with the other families for a date!!
