Here is my Thursday’s thought for this week, it really needs no introduction. I love the simplicity of this thought! I could say this to each and everyone of my grandchildren and I hope that they would all know that I really mean it! :)

Wedding Subway Art Picture
Love is in the Air!
Last week I promised you a gift idea that you can use for all those spring weddings that are coming up!
This is a fun subway art picture. I buy a nice frame to put this in and add a note that they can change out the picture later for one of their wedding pictures when they get them back! Although a lot of the recipients like the subway art and say that they are not going to change it out! :)
Make-up Bag and Brush Holder
One of the stops that we made on our recent trip was at the Mac Cosmetic Store in Las Vegas! I love going to this store because we only have Mac Counters in Utah, so when I get close to a store I try to make a visit! :)
I love their products and the quality, but they are a little pricey so I feel like I have to be careful when using them and take good care of my products. So when I got home I decided that a new make-up bag and brush holder were in order!
April 2013 Visiting Teaching Handout
Here is my visiting teaching handout for April. The lesson title is “Temple Covenants”
Spring is in the air!
And I am so loving our warmer weather and I am ready to get outside to play and to work in the yard. This month’s handout just looks like spring! So I hope that it will cheer up your day as well as the sisters that you visit!
Recycled Boxes
This is a fun little project that I did with a couple of my grandkids a while back and they loved it!
It is a great way to recycle some of those fun fruit snack, cereal or granola boxes! Any fun printed box would work.
Snickerdoodles!
This is one of our favorite cookies!
They are soft on the inside, but have the crunchy cinnamon/sugar coating!
Snickerdoodle cookies are great for a spring picnic or for an Easter brunch!
Sweet Succulents!
I am getting anxious to start working in my garden but it is still too early to plant most things.
I planted some some butter crunch lettuce which is one of my favorite things, but that is about it for now, so I decided that I would plant some beautiful succulents! These are great to plant, because they do not take very much maintenance! You only have to water them every once in awhile when the soil dries out! I don’t have very many houseplants, because I don’t take good enough care of them! But these are easy and they are so beautiful! These plants make great gifts, because the person receiving the gift does not have very much maintenance to keep them looking beautiful!
Easy to Sew Zippered Pouches!
Yesterday we had another one of our sewing classes for Relief Society in my church. I taught them how to put in a zipper and we made these fun zippered pouches!
These are so fun to make and they are a great project to learn how to put a zipper in! This is a beginning sewing class so all of the projects are simple to make. There are a lot of pictures in this tutorial, but do not let that discourage you. These are literally a 15-20 minute project once you have made one and know how to do them! Continue reading

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and here is a fun little idea that you could do for your family.
This is a yummy way to tell your family that you feel lucky that they are in your family!
