The Best Yuletide Decoration

I saw this quote in an adult coloring book…”The Best Yuletide Decoration.”  It just made me smile and I knew that it would be perfect for the thought of the day!Perhaps-the-best-Yuletide-decoration-000-Page-1

Perhaps The Best Yuletide Decoration Is Being Wreathed in Smiles!

This fun, whimsical quote is perfect for framing, gift giving, or decorating!  It is formatted to a 5 x 7″ size, so it is perfect to put in a small frame to give away or to keep for yourself!  To print as a jpeg, right click over image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder.  You can then print your own or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.  For those of you that would like the PDF download click on the following link:

Baby Cakes Quilt

Today I have a darling Baby Cakes quilt to show you that I started a year ago!  I had all of the blocks finished and all I had to do is put it together and add the border and I kind of forgot all about it, until I was cleaning my sewing room a while back!  I’ll bet that none of you ever do that…right?baby cakes quilt Continue reading

Gardening is Just Another Day at the Plant

Today I have a  fun little thought that would be a great gift for all you gardeners out there!  I saw this saying and it just made me laugh out loud!  :)

This would be a fun gift for your favorite gardener, or the person that is a wanna be gardener!

This would be great to do as a photo block like I did here.  Or you could simply put this in a frame and put it out on your patio table!  This is formatted to an 8 x 10 size.  If you want to do a photo block remember to develop it with a matte finish, not glossy!  If you want the JPEG format or photo format, right click over the image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder.  You can print your own or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.  For those of you that would like the PDF download, just click on the link:

Father’s Day Gift Ideas

This summer has been so busy already…and it is only the middle of June!  I seem to be having a hard time getting everything done that I need to do!  But I am sure that a lot of you feel the same way that I do!  I just need to slow down and enjoy a few lazy summer afternoons (right after I get caught up!)

With Father’s Day coming up real soon, I thought that perhaps I would do a quick little round-up of Father’s Day Gift Ideas!  Some of these are re-posts that I have done in earlier years and some ideas are some that I found on Pinterest.

This first one is a round-up of ideas that I did last year.  There are several different printables,  and a couple of fun gifts:

Thursday’s Thought-It’s all Good

Here is my newest installment of the Thursday’s Thought!

I saw this saying on a plaque when I was with the girls on our “Girl’s Weekend” a few months ago and I thought that this would be a fun one to frame.  You could also print this and put it on a wood block to make it look like a canvas print.  If you do that, just be sure to print your photo in a matte finish!  I did it in black and white so that it could go with any color decor.  This is formatted to an 8 x 10 size.It's-all-Good-000-Page-1To print as a jpeg, or photo, right click over image and go to “save image as”, then save in a folder.  You can then print it or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.  For those of you that would like a PDF download click on this link:

it’s all good

This is a great print to frame and would perfect for gifts, home decor, office decor, or for a fun teacher gift.  With all of the end of the year gifts that you need, (school, dance, sports etc.) this is a perfect little thank you gift!

I would like to make a canvas block  with this and I can think of several places and people that this could go to!  :)

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you are having a “GOOD” Thursday!

Oreo Sunflower Cupcakes

Today I have a fun food craft that you can do with the kiddos!  I am back to tending two of my grandkids a couple of days a week and I decided that we needed a project to do.  I still have some limited use in my right arm and hand, but I can cook again, so we decided it would be fun to make cupcakes!
