My New Toy…A Nikon D7100!
My husband and I just got back from a LONG road trip. It was not necessarily long in the days that we were gone, but it was long in the amount of miles that we drove! We went up to Vancouver Island in Canada and then drove part way down the 101 coastline highway. We left on a Thursday afternoon, but not until I received my newest little toy from UPS. We actually waited for it to come, so that I could take it with us on our trip! :)

3 Friday’s Favorite Finds!
Today I want to share a few new favorite finds that I found!
I have lived in Utah most of my life and I had never heard of Pirate O’s! It is such a fun store that I just happened to find last week! My husband and I were driving down the road and I yelled, “turn around!” Well, I really said can you please turn around right here! :) And being the great husband that he is…he did! My New Toy…A Silhouette Cameo
My husband was gone all last week, so I had a fun week going to lunch… shopping… crafting… shopping… going to lunch… well you get the idea!
I have been thinking about getting a Silhouette machine ever since my friend gave me this “Jingle All The Way” picture in December. So I went to her house and she showed me her machine and told me about some on-line classes that she is taking and that she loves! That kind of sold me, because I have a “Pazzle” cutting machine from back when I had my scrapbook store, but I really didn’t know how to use it very well and I was not very impressed with the classes and tutorials that they have. So long story short, I ordered a Silhouette machine and I have been playing with it all weekend!
Friday’s Favorite Find
Today I wanted to do another one of my favorite finds!
Since it is the beginning of the new year and a lot of us are thinking about resolutions and goals I wanted to share this book with you. I am a very type A person and I love to read organizational books and articles! :) I am a list maker and I love to write in my planner and plan out all of my “to-do’s” for the day. One of my biggest problems is that my lists are usually longer than the time in the day!
I don’t even remember where I read about this book, but I ordered it and have been working on it for 3 weeks now! I love the concept of this book, that you set ONE goal a week and work on it. (Not a whole page of them!) The second thing that I love about this book is that you are supposed to reward yourself! How many of us women ever reward ourselves? Not many. Well, now you have an excuse to reward yourself for the goals that you accomplish! Gotta love that! Another thing that you will do with this book is write a life plan. This little exercise really made me stop and think about what I really want to accomplish in my life time!

Friday’s Favorite Find
Today I want to show you my newest favorite find!
For many years now I have straightened my hair every day! My oldest granddaughter keeps asking me how come I never do my hair differently. She tells me that I wear it the same way every day. (Isn’t it nice how brutally honest kids can be!) So when I saw a small video on how this curling iron works, I must say that I was amazed enough to buy it! I got mine at Walmart, and that was the cheapest place that I found. It was $99.99… it’s costly to be beautiful!
