I saw an apron at a little boutique a while back and I decided that I wanted try to make one. The idea is a very simple one, and when it came to making it, it was very simple to make! I love it when that happens!

Farmer’s Market Sign
I hope that you all had a great Memorial Day weekend! We went up to our cabin and also to our hunting property. We have built an irrigation pond and are anxiously waiting for it to fill up! They have planted a few fish in there, so the grandkids are already loving it!
I also went to Poppyseed Projects to get a summer board, and came home with this darling print instead! All I had to do to make this sign was to paint the board black, Mod Podge the print to the board and then add the texture cream to the front of the plaque! So easy!
Cherry Table Quilt
I have a fun little table quilt that I have been working on for the last year! One of my girlfriend’s gave me the pattern and we have both been working on them together, it is so fun to have a friend that likes to do what you do! I guess that is why we are best friends! :)
New Outdoor Pillows
I have been working out in my yard trying to get everything cleaned up and getting all of my pots and flowers planted. I like to spend most of my evenings out in my yard, so I enjoy having a “room” outside on my patio.
I like to have new pillows for this room, but outdoor pillows and cushions are quite expensive…so I usually just recover the ones I have!
Star Quilts
I am so happy to announce that it is Christmas in May!?
I decided right after Christmas last year that I was going to make these two quilts for gifts for this year. I went out and got the fabric last January and I have slowly been working on them during some of our weekend trips up to our cabin, and they are now finished and I can put them away until Christmas! Strawberry Tablecloth
I have been tending grandkids for 9 straight days and I am totally worn out! I guess that is why you have your children when you are young, so that you can kind of keep up with them! :) They have been really good kids, but I am exhausted. We went to the park, had picnics, went to our cabin overnight, had our Easter party, went to another Easter party, learned how to do a rainbow loom…made lots of bracelets, went shopping, went to church and I carpooled kids from school! Oh and we also watched after 3 birds! I forgot how much time and ENERGY it takes to keep up with little kids! So my praise goes out to all of you that are raising small children…keep up the great job!
Needless to say, I have not done many projects this last week, but I do have one very simple sewing project for you today:
Patchwork Bunnies–Prissy & Pete!
Oh my Goodness, Oh my Goodness!
I would like to introduce the two newest members of my family!
Our Arizona Trip
My husband and I went on our annual trip to Arizona! We were gone about 10 days and we had a great time. We have been making this trip for about 7 or 8 years now! We go down for baseball Spring Training, (or at least that is what my husband goes for!) I go for the wonderfully warm weather and to just get away from it all!
Block Of the Month Quilt-WIP
This project is a work in progress.
It is my quilt top from the block of the month that I just finished! This is from the quilt shop, Just Sew, in Highland, Utah.
I love the fun, bright color combinations in the quilt with the white sashings to set it all off!
Little Girl’s Dresses
Do you have any projects that you have had all the supplies for a long time before you got around to making it? Well these dresses are one of those projects. I had the pattern for a few months before I bought the fabric and then I had the fabric for several months before I got around to making them. But I think the wait was well worth it!
