I had a request for some everyday jar toppers and so that is what I have for my post today. I would love it if you would print these out, put something fun in the jar and deliver it to someone…JUST BECAUSE!

I must really have Valentines on the brain this week, because this is the 4th Valentines post this week!
There must be love in the air here!
Today I have these yummy M&M’s Valentine cookies. This recipe has been in our family for a long time. The name of these cookies on my recipe card is: “Leora’s Chocolate Chip Cookies” This is a nickname that I have had for my sister for a long time, I don’t really even remember where it came from, but I remember saying “Leora” in a mocking tone every time I called her that! Some things just never go away, do they?
Anyway, here is my version of these yummy cookies:
How is everyone doing today? I am still in the cleaning out and organizing mode! I love it when I get in this mode, I seem to get this way every January and I have to take advantage of it because it does not seem to stay very long! I got my closet all cleaned out and organized and most of my office (I still need to work on my desk top a little bit) Today, I put a BUNCH of stuff away in my scrapbook room and organized somewhat. I still have so many scrapbook supplies from when I owned my store. I need to purge some of it out, but I don’t really even know where to start! How about you, are you in the cleaning/organizing mode or has that mode already passed you by? :)
Well, here is my Thursday’s Thought for this week. I thought that this would be a fun one to print and put in a frame to put in my kitchen to go along with my few Valentines decorations.

This would be a fun little framed gift or it would also make a cute card or tag!
To print, right click over image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder. Or you can right click over image and go to “copy image” then open your favorite program like Word or Presentations, right click again and go to “paste” You can then size it and print it. This is formatted to 8 x 10 for those that would like to send it to their favorite photo processing center.

What Valentine wouldn’t love receiving this on Valentines Day filled with his or her favorite goodies, trinkets or love letters etc?
You can customize these to each individual person.
Today I have a fun little printable Valentines Countdown for you to make for all those little Valentines in your life! It is a countdown to KISSES! ( I think you should get a real kiss each day besides the chocolate ones!)
My little 4 year old grandson just walked in while I was taking these pictures and the first thing he said is “Do I get one of those?!” Then then next thing he said is, “are you going to make one for everyone?” So I guess the pressure is on for me to make all the grandkids one of these! :)
I used to decorate for all the holidays when my children were at home, but now I usually decorate a lot for Halloween… a little bit for Thanksgiving… for Christmas I still go all out… and then I kind of just go spring/Easter and Summer/Patriotic.
But I still like to have a few decorations and candies in my kitchen for each holiday! So for Valentines day, I decided to make up these darling button trimmed dishtowels! I got the supplies for these last spring, when we went on our trip to Arizona. My husband basically took me on my very own, private, quilt shop hop on that trip! We went to about 15 different quilt shops while we were there for Spring Baseball, it was like having the best of both worlds! :)

This was also the theme for my grandkids Valentines.
I filled a small box with some treats, a little surprise, and a light up balloon! Plus some Love Potion #9.
This is the Valentine that I made to go with each of the boxes. I printed mine out on photo paper and loved the glossy look! I know that these are late for you to use this year, but I needed to surprise the kids, so you can save them for next year! This would be cute with little flashlights, glow sticks or anything that lights up!
I hope that this day is filled with love.

Last night I finally bit the bullet and made some of my sugar cookies.
I resist doing this every year because they are 1) a little bit time consuming, 2) messy to make and 3) I cannot resist eating them…at all! (Which is not a good thing!)
Yesterday I had a little helper here with me after school and so I decided that it would be a good day to make some flower bouquets for Valentines Day. My little helper was very eager to help me especially after finding out the the flowers would be made out of cookies!
