Noel Lolly Garland #acwarehousesale

Last week I was invited to a SNAP event for bloggers that was held at the American Crafts Warehouse Sale!  I was so excited to go that I almost went a week early!  My friend had to tell me that it was not for another week!  :)

#acwarehousesale  This sale is in Orem, Utah at the old K-Mart building,  so if any of you that are local would like to visit this sale I heard that they have extended it until end of January!  If you have any scrapbook lovers on your Christmas list, this would be the perfect place to find all kinds of goodies to fill that need!

I was able to really stock up on some fun items…look at all of this goodness!AC warehouse saleand some fun Christmas stuff:AC warehouse sale I also stocked up on paper!AC warehouse saleI was very pleasantly surprised with all of the name brand products that they had… I was like a little kid in a candy store!

I knew that I needed to come home and make something with all of this goodness, so this is what I came up with!Noel lolly GarlandA fun little Noel lolly garland.  This was so easy to make.   It is made with paper and ribbon!  Do you want to make a garland for your holiday decor?   Here is an easy step by step tutorial to walk you through it!Noel Lolly garland1.  Cut a 12 x 12 piece of scrapbook paper into 3 strips that are 4 inches wide.  then score every 1/2 inch and fold accordion style.

2.  Glue the 3 strips together to make one long strip.

3. Glue the long strip into a circle.

4. Flatten the circle and you have made a lolly!  You will glue your letters onto a paper circle or ribbon decoration and then glue that to your lolly to hold it in place!

5.  I used these snowflakes to put in between each lolly and on each end.

Cut a ribbon the length that you want the garland to be and hot glue each lolly in place!  So easy!Noel Lolly garlandHere is a close-up of one of the lollies…I had the ribbon medallions, so I just added the red circle and cut a gold glitter letter.Noel lolly garlandThis is what the black centers look like.  It is black polka dot paper with striped ribbon on the top.  I added the red circle and cut the letter again out of gold glitter paper.  I used the snowflakes in between each lolly and tied red and green ribbons to the main ribbon.Noel lolly garlandYou could hang this above a window, on a fireplace mantel, in front of a table, to the tops of your cupboards, over a door etc. etc. etc.  And of course you can spell out any word that you would like!  These are a perfect little inexpensive holiday decor that you could make in an evening and they add such fun to your holidays!

Thank you SNAP and American Crafts for such a fun outing and for all the lovely paper products!

Do you have any paper Christmas projects that you do?…if so I would love to hear about them…since I now have a great supply to work with!  :)

Thanks for Visiting Today!

  1. Dear Rita,

Meant to let you know just how awesome you are! You are my Thankful Tuesday! I’m so glad that you are healthy and well after your 4th of July mishap. I’m so thankful for the many things you post, I’ve tried a few. Everything’s been great, the Ande’s mint cookies, the pumpkin baked donuts, the fleece throw tote ( made so many of those for grad gifts) and I use your V.T. cards all the time. I am doing the 40 day of conference talks, I stopped to do a week of thankful scriptures, in December I’ll take a break to do Christ’s birth scriptures but I plan to be done by the 31st. May you have a wonderful time with your family through this holiday season.
    Merry Christmas!
