August 2024 Ministering Handout
Well, here we are “Rollin’ into August! Where does the time go? I guess it just flies by when you are having fun, right?!
August is always a busy month with back to school, last minute vacations, canning, and yard work, but I love it! I have been having fun with my yard this year with the flowers that I planted from seeds in my greenhouse last winter. I have learned a lot and it seems like gardening is a lot of trial and error…but that is what is fun about it!
This month for the ministering handout I decided that I needed something uplifting and joyful! It has been a summer of hard things with my husband’s surgery, but we are on the downhill side and I am learning to have gratitude in my heart. It just makes things so much better if we can have a grateful heart even in trying times!
This message comes from a talk given last conference by Elder Uchtdorf, titled “A Higher Joy“. The gospel of Jesus Christ is truly the “good news of great joy!”Here is the message card. It is formatted to a 4 x 6 size.
Those of you that would like to print the jpeg image, simply right click over the image. Go to “save image as” then save in a folder of your choice. You can then print your own or send it out to your favorite photo processing place.
All images are for personal use only! This blank card is perfect for those of you that would like to translate. Or if you are in need of a cute card, note, invite or handout, this should work for you! All you need to do is add your own text! Here is a cute tag that I tied to a roll of canned cinnamon rolls! But you could use it on anything of your choice. Also included are these blank tags for those of you that would like to add your own sentiment!

So this is my August 2024 Ministering Handout. I hope you enjoy.
As always…please remember that it is your sisters that are important…not the handout! Make sure they know how much you love and care about them!
Happy Ministering!
Love your ideas. Thank you!!
Grace, You are welcome! Thank you for taking the time to write your kind words. They mean a lot to me! Happy Ministering!
Although I still refer to ministering as Visiting Teaching, one thing hasn’t changed; since discovering your website, I cannot complete my monthly visits without the inspiration you provide!
Debi, Awww…thank you! I am with you on the Visiting Teaching thing! Thank you for taking the time to write your kind words, I really appreciate them! Hope you have a wonderful day. Happy Ministering!
