Come Follow Me Study Helps
I thought that it would be fun to share with you some of the Come Follow Me Study Helps that we are doing.
First of all, my daughter asked me back in December if I would do some kind of scripture that everyone could post every week.
As a result, l found this fun bulletin board idea from My Computer is My Canvas.
Downloads are available to purchase for every month.
Simply print and cut out and put your bulletin board or magnet board together.
This is a great reminder all week of the reading assignment and a scripture that comes out of the reading material.
Another study help, that my friend Leslie, told me about is called: Don’t Miss This
Simply click on the link above and go to the website. You will then have you sign up for a mailing list , then every Monday a new lesson will come to you!
A You Tube video lesson is available for each week.
In connection with this there is also a worksheet that you can download and print off.
The lessons are wonderful.
David and Emily try to cover other things in the scheduled reading that is not covered in Come Follow Me! Another wonderful Come Follow Me Study Helps, is this:
“The New Testament Study Guide, Start to Finish”!
It is amazing if you want to learn more about The New Testament.
My neighbors is one of the associate editors and he and all of the other editors are amazing!
Had no idea of all the new things that I would learn!!!
If you can find one of these books, it comes highly recommended!
Our leaders have encouraged us to record or write down what we have learned. Or some of the impressions that we might receive. Here are a couple of pages from my scripture journal!
Every week I put the lesson page from the “Don’t Miss This” lesson.
Then I write my own feelings, or things that I have learned or that I want to work on in this journal.
Find pictures from the internet to print that go along with the lesson.
There is one more Come Follow Me Study Helps, that I use and it is all of these cute printables.
From Rhonna Designs.
They are amazing, free, and all you have to do is download them.
(If you have a hard time finding the downloads, just google it.)
Above all, you can and should personalize your own journal just the way you want it!
You can use any book for your journal. A simple art pad that is hard bound is what I am using.
It works beautifully. Finally, pick a place in your home that you can set up and just leave out.
As a result, my kitchen table is where I love to study. The windows let in so much light and I can sit here and read and ponder and work on my journal.
So these are some of my “Come Follow Me” Study Helps.
I would love to hear what you are doing!
Rita, you’re an absolute jewel! Your creations and now your sharing of other creative sites makes me feel more confident as I attempt to teach each month in Relief Society and for my assigned ministering families.
