July 2021 Ministering Handout
Wow oh wow everybody! Where did the month of June go??
The school summer vacation is almost half way over!
I do feel good in the fact that I have been able to get quite a few things checked off my list of things I needed to do. I have been organizing and got a major job all finished this week. And as a result, my kids better thank me for cleaning out 25 years of junk, so they don’t have to do it when I am gone! :)
For the ministering handout this month, I decided to do a fun beachy, summery card. The thought that I used for this month is from Pres. Hinckley. He was always so optimistic and positive and I certainly want to try to be like him. The thought for this card is from an article given in July 2001 in the New Era, titled “The Spirit of Optimism”. This is not a direct quote from the talk, but key ideas from this talk.
Here is the message card. It is formatted to a 4 x 6 size. For those of you that would like the jpeg format, right click over the image. Then go to “save image as”. And simply save in a folder. You can print from there, or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.

The blank card is perfect for those of you that would like to translate. Or if you are in need of a fun, summer card, note, invite or handout, this might work! 
These fun little Tiki tags are perfect to tie to a treat, a drink, a little trinket or a small bag of candy.

I love these BAI Coconut drinks!
My friend, Heather, got me started on adding fresh lime to them and they are absolutely yummy and thirst quenching! Therefore I decided to use this for my treat to go with this handout. I simply tied the tag to a clear cellophane bag with the drink and a fresh lime. Of course cute ribbon always helps too!

Thanks Rita. I love your stuff every month. I’ve been meaning to comment since working with you at LHS. Love that you’re dejunking. I’m been doing the same since retiring, but have a break from subbing for the summer and it’s been fantastic. You’re fantastic and such a great friend. You sure make my ministering visits easy.
