Crochet Dishcloth Pattern
After showing the knitted dishcloths, I had a couple of people ask me if I had a Crochet Dishcloth Pattern.
I had never done any crochet dishcloths, but my best friend Kathy, has. So I asked her if she would share her pattern with me, which she did! These dishcloths have a fun lacy feel to them! They work up faster than the knitted dishcloths and they don’t use as much yarn! You can use the variegated yarn for a fun colorful dishcloth or you could use a solid color to match the color of your kitchen. (If you are into that sort of thing!)This orange dishcloth did not turn out exactly square. :)
I was working on this one while at one of my grandson’s ball game and apparently I did not pay close enough attention to what I was doing. Because I did a few too many chains on the first row and it ended up longer than the other two I did! That’s okay…it will work just the same! Here is the pattern.

The great thing about this pattern is that there are only two stitches that you need to know how to do, a chain stitch and a double crochet. (dc)
You will be able to get two crocheted dishcloths out of one skein of Peaches and Cream yarn. Whereas, with the knitted dishcloths, you can only get one dishcloth out of one skein of yarn!
So this is the Crochet Dishcloth Pattern.
Do you like to knit better or crochet? Both are fun to do, but I feel like I knit a little better than I crochet. Maybe I just need to practice a little more!
When I do mine, I crochet the shell stitch around the edge of the whole washcloth. It finishes it off nicely.
Kris, That is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
