Here is a fun ideas to go with the Thanksgiving worksheet Placemats that I showed last week.
These crayon/marker holders are perfect for the kids table! These are fun to make and the kids can help with this project! I just put my hot glue gun on the cool setting. I used the glue gun, but let my granddaughter put the different elements on, and she thought that was great! You just need black paper cups, black cardstock circles, gold ric-rac, a square of scrapbook paper and a yellow button! I did not do a tutorial on these because there is a great one here, from Lil’ Luna. That is where I first saw this idea and thought it was so cute that I wanted to make some too! If you use crayons with these cups, you will need to add tissue paper to the bottom so that the crayons will stick up above the cup. My kids all love markers more than crayons, so we made a trip to the dollar store for markers.Do you have a kids table at your Thanksgiving dinner? We do and the kids love to sit together with no adults telling them what to do! :)
So now you have everything that you need for your kids table… worksheet placemats, Pilgrim Hat crayon/marker cups, and Thanksgiving sour cream containers…now all you have to do is get into the kitchen and start cooking!!! :)
