I love the fall time!
I love the cooler weather and I love the leaves changing colors and I love that the yard work is soon coming to an end! :) I also love to decorate for the fall holidays! Even though some days it still feels like summer, the evenings cool down and you can tell that fall is in the air. So I decided that it was time to change up my chalkboard door for Autumn!
I am really loving this door because it is the centerpiece for all the different decorating things that I do. I can change the chalkboard art very easily and if I decide I want to do more than one chalkboard art in a season…well, I can do that too! :)
Here is a close-up of my old wooden “Orange crate” I love this little shelf crate and how perfect it is for decorating! All I have to do is add a few decorations and they look perfect on these “shelves”. I bought the lantern arrangement at Gordman’s and the pumpkin on the bottom and the owl on the top are from Michaels. 
I almost threw this Farmer’s Market sign away! I was making it and the vinyl was old and did not stick very well, so therefore the paint seeped under it and it was kind of a mess! But I sanded it up a lot and touched up the orange paint to make the lettering more readable and now I think that it is a great “vintage” sign. I do love the pop of color that the blue brings to this vignette! This board is a Poppy Seed Project and you can order one for yourself if you want to make it up! Just click on the link.
I also bought this wreath at Gordman’s. I love the bright flowers and the natural leaves, feathers and pine cones in this arrangement.
I have had this lantern stand in my yard all summer with a plant growing in the top. I simply took the plant out, added a candle, some fall leaves and a big autumn bow to it to make it look festive!
This is my try at chalkboard art. I love that if I mess up, I can just erase it and try again! There are lots of fun Autumn sayings that I could use…so who knows…this one may get changed in couple of weeks!
So there you have my little fall vignette. This is on the side of my house at the end of the driveway, so every time I come home this greets me and it always puts a little smile on my face!
