A few days ago my husband and I took a picnic and went up American Fork Canyon, Utah to Cascade Springs. It is one of the most beautiful places in our area and it was so fun to just go take pictures and enjoy the beauties of nature!
This is the very first picture I took when walking down to the springs. This little guy was there to greet me, like it was his responsibility to welcome me to the springs!
This post is just for you to enjoy on a hot summer’s day. Look at the refreshing waterfalls and imagine the rushing of the waters and the relaxing, bubbling of the streams. Imagine the mist spraying you in the face and soothing your soul! These are natural flowing springs. There are all kinds of trails to take and hikes to go on.
In the bottom of the springs are several ponds. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom and everything in them! Amazing! On the way back down the canyon my husband got his binoculars out to look for elk. He spotted this nice big bull across the canyon. This is a very zoomed in picture, but you can see how big this guy is!These are some of the rugged mountain tops at the peak. Oh such beautiful scenery! We live in such a beautiful area. A beautiful sunset to end a beautiful evening!
If you live in this area, I hope that you can take the chance to enjoy this beautiful little corner of nature!
Cascade Springs is our little bit of paradise. Whenever the kids visit they want to take their kids to Cascade Springs–great family memories.
