I finally got all of my flowers planted…got a fun chalk art on my chalkboard door and found a fun orange accent for my crate. So now I think that I can just sit back and relax and enjoy it all summer…right? :)I found this fun wood plaque at Michael’s and the cute owl cut-out. I brought them home and spray painted the plaque orange to match my new re-do chairs and the owl gray to match the table.I got the summer time download in the Silhouette store and simply cut it out of white vinyl. This was a super easy project to make and I love how it added a POP of orange color to the chalkboard door!I love how fun this chalkboard door is. I can change it out anytime that I want to…or whenever it rains…which ever one comes first! :) This door has been a fun accent in this little corner and I love how easy it was to make!I showed my orange crate a couple of days ago and I was looking for a better orange accent to go on the middle shelf….This is what I came up with! Another fun little chalkboard sign! It was already painted orange, so all I had to do is write something on it and add a cute little bug!I can see the kids writing notes on this little sign, but that is great, because grandma’s always love little notes! So there is my Chalk Art for the moment.
I will do a yard tour next week and show you some of my newest flower additions, that I am really excited about. Hope you all have a great weekend! I have a couple of grandsons staying at my house, so it is going to be PARTY TIME this weekend! :) Well, as much as this old grandma can party!
I love the whimsy you always add. Thanks for sharing!
