Happy Halloween from our house to yours!
We had our family Halloween party last night and the kids had a great time! We played pin the heart on the Skeleton, a Don’t Eat Pete game, and our famous fish pond, which the kids always want to do more! :)
We had a spooky meal that consisted of:
Witch’s Brew-Soup
Crusty Bones-Bread sticks
Slimy Green Guts- Green Salad
Magic Potion- Grape drink with sherbet and gummy worms
Mummy Dogs- Hot dogs wrapped in biscuits
Monster Mash- Watermelon
Blood Sauce- Salsa
Eyeballs- Cake balls
My granddaughter helped me make up this menu and all the names. We were just going to have soup and salad and breadsticks, but then I decided to add the mummy dogs and chips and salsa for the kids!
We also had lots of treats like these eyeballs on a stick and the monster bites! Which are just a pretzel with a Rolo candy melted on top and an eyeball or eyeballs added!
This is the treat table that had all of the take-home treats on!
The kids each got a goodie bag and their “Canned” treat to take home. The mom’s all got a bag of chocolate and an Apple Pie Caramel apple to take home (they get to choose if they are going to share with their husbands or not!)
Here are the printable food labels for any of you that would like to use them for your Halloween Party, if you have already had your party, you can pin them for next year! :)
Just print on cardstock, cut them out, and fold in half. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
You can use them for most any foods. Just use your imagination!
I also included a page of blank ones in case you want to write your own, or if you want to use them for name place settings, bag toppers, or anything else that you can think of!
To print these, right click over image and go to “save image as” and save in a folder, you can then print from there. Or right click over image and go to “copy image” then open your favorite program like presentation and right click again and go to “paste” You can then print them out.
So that was our Halloween Party for this year. Have any of you had any parties yet? If not… maybe you can use some of these fun printables!
Happy Halloween to all of you from me and my cutest lil’ punkin!
What a super cute baby…..!!!! just adorable. And yes, I had a Halloween party for my family yesterday….the theme was “bats”…made placemats out of vinyl and matching napkin holders out of black felt…was fun…
Roswitha, that sounds like a totally fun party! Did everyone go “batty”? :)
Oh my goodness…looks like you had a great time! :)
Thanks for joining the Link Up this week!
I just recently started following your blog and when I opened up my e-mail tonight and saw the picture of your cute family and low and behold who should I see but our dear friends the Yates family! My husband is Jason Childs and I had no idea you were Jason’s mother!! What a small world. I just love everything on your blog. I am envious of your talent and creativity. What a darling Halloween party. I’ll have to save these for next year’s party as we just had our little family party tonight.
Cara, it truly is a small world! Thank you so much for taking the time to write your kind comment. It is always so fun to hear from someone that I know. Jason keeps us in touch a little bit about your family, but it is wonderful to hear from you. Thanks for your support and kindness, I appreciate both!
Have a happy day!
Rita
