I have some fun pictures today from my friend’s Halloween porch! She always has a beautiful yard with flowers and pots everywhere in the summer and this is what it looks like now for Halloween!
I love all the pumpkins and gourds that she uses to decorate with. She grows most of them in her garden! I also love the big sunflower head…the perfect touch!
This sign is absolutely to die for! She made the big sign with fence boards. Then painted it white. She then hand painted all the lettering! It is not vinyl, I cannot believe how much work it was. I love the little chalkboard hanger with the number of days until Halloween! The ribbon down the side and the bunting on the top just set it off so perfectly!
This tool box is just to the right of her door. It has garden tools in the bottom and she usually has flowers all in the top during the summer, but the gourds and pumpkins are perfect to go with the fall/Halloween theme! I love that she still has geraniums blooming!
Here is a close up of the gourds, pumpkins and sunflower head. She also has strobe lights at night that light it all up!
Another fun addition that she made just this year is this fun lamp shade! She just took the wire frame of a lamp shade and tied all kinds of burlap strips on it. She then wove in some Halloween lights so that it lights up at night! Darling idea! I also love the lights and bugs around the front door. This would be darling at night all lit up with the lampshade, around the door, the lighted pumpkins, and strobe lights!
So this is her fun Halloween porch! The inside of her house is just as cute with bottles of candy, quilts and paper pumpkins decorating her front room and kitchen! It is truly eye candy to see all of her fun decorating ideas! Thanks for letting me share your fun porch, Kathy, and all of your darling decorating ideas! Have you seen any Halloween porches that you have fallen in love with? I love to just drive around the different neighborhoods looking at all the different ideas out there! It is just so fun this time of year. I have seen things from very simple to a full blown haunted yard!

Rita this is such a cute porch she sure did an awesome job on the sign but what really caught my attention was the orange sled never in all my years have I ever seen this or thought to do this. tell her I love her creativity.Susie

OMG, I love this! I think my favorite thing is the planter lined with pumpkins and gourds… I don’t know why! And the sign of course!

Tania, thank you for taking the time to comment! I love the planter lined with pumpkins too. In fact, after I took those pictures I went to Wal-mart and bought some gourds to add along side of my pumpkins! Love it!
