August 2023 Ministering Handouts
Happy August everyone! Hope you are all enjoying your summer if you live where it is summer right now! We are experiencing a heat wave as are many other people in the US. So stay inside if you can and cool down!
This month I chose the talk from Elder Allen D. Haynie, titled: “A Living Prophet for the Latter Days”
I picked the quote about how current conditions in the world have caused some to panic… This is a great talk and if you have time, I put a link up above, so you can read it again.
For those of you who would like the jpeg image, simply right click over image. Then go to “save image as” and save it in a folder of your choice.
All images are formatted to a 4 x 6 size. You can print your own or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.
All images are for personal use only, they are not for resale.
Here is the blank card for those of you that would like to translate. Or if you are in need of a fun card, note, handout or invite, all you need to do is add your own text!I put a Basil plant with the handout this month so this tag goes with it.If you want to do something different for your handout or you want to write something different, here are the blank tags.

I chose a Basil plant that I got from my local Smith’s grocery store in the produce section. I love basil and I found out that it is one of the easiest plants to propagate! You can use Basil to make Caprese Salad, like this one. Or you can make pesto. Basil is also great to add to fresh flower arrangements! You can freeze fresh basil and then you have all year round! It is just a fun, yummy herb that is easy to maintain.
So that is my Aug 2023 Ministering Handout! Hope you enjoy it!
As always…it is not the handout that matters…it is your sisters! Make sure they know you love and care about them!

I always love looking at your website for all the beautiful helps you share with us, especially for the Ministering ideas each month.
I just wondered if you might be putting together a fun chart for reading the October 2022 General Conference Talks as we approach the April 2023 General Conference? I think you might have done this in the past. Just wondered!
Tammy, I am not going to be putting together a reading chart. I have not done one for several years now. I follow the Inklings Institute App with Emily Freeman. They study one conference talk every week. I am not sure if you can google a reading chart or not, but I have seen some others ones out there in years past. Hope this helps.
