Hey Everyone! Welcome to the June 2023 Ministering Handout!
I hope you are all doing well and are ready for summer! I have been working like a crazy old lady out in my yard. I am so excited, because I am getting a greenhouse!! I am going to learn how to propagate, plant from seed, and re-grow all kinds of plants. I am not trying to grow a big vegetable garden, but rather a cut flower garden! It is so fun and I am learning so many new things. I’ll show you pictures when it is all installed and ready to go.
So throughout this process I am learning about the importance of bees and butterflies and that is what lead me to the theme for this month! So here’s the Buzzz….
I chose Pres. Nelson’s talk from last conference, titled, “Peacemakers Needed”. I think that it is sad that we even needed this talk. All the trash that is being said about people is just so heartbreaking. This talk was definitely in sync with the times! Therefore, I chose the quote:
“How we speak to and about others at home, at church, at work, and online really matters… “If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy” that we can say about another person—whether to his face or behind her back—that should be our standard of communication.”
Here is the message card. For those of you that would like the jpeg image, simply right click over the image. Then go to “save image as”. You can then save it a folder of your choice.
It is formatted to a 4 x 6 size. You can print your own or send it out to your favorite photo processing center.

Also included this month is a fun little “Bee” tag!
I found some Burt’s Bees lip shimmer to go with the message. But you could use a bottle of honey, this honey butter that I shared the recipe for back in 2012, Bit O Honey candy or anything Bee related!

Thanks for continuing to make these adorable handouts! I have the program to make my own, but yours are always so darn cute why would I go to all that work?! ;) I do struggle sometimes with printing on the blank ones and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong… Could you do a post on how to format the saved images so we can print our own thoughts? ….or feel free to email me. I’m not really tech savvy so some of these things just don’t click for me. Hope you have a wonderful June and that you truly enjoy the wonderful spring of northern Utah before it turns crazy hot for us soon!
