July 4th Bingo Game

Last weekend on the way to our cabin, my husband stopped at World Market to let me look around for awhile.  I love that store!  I saw a really cool Bingo Game and it was a vintage one with a cage wheel and everything.  I debated about getting it for our 4th of July party, but in the end I decided just to make a game instead and use the money to buy prizes for the winners!  I’m crazy I know.  I really don’t know what got into me… but lucky for you, because now you can play bingo on the 4th of July  with your family and friends too!

I found this cute little bucket to put my calling cards in.  I think I got it at Target in the dollar section, but it was awhile ago, but you could use anything to put your calling cards in.  When I get ready to store this game I will simply put all of the game boards and the calling cards in  a zip lock bag and put it in my filing cabinet!

There are 10 different game boards and the calling cards.  They are in an 8 1/2 X 11″ format, with 2 game boards per page, so you can just print your own if you want to.  I ended up sending mine into Alphagraphics and then had them laminate everything too.

To print: right click on image and go to copy.  Open your favorite program like Word or Presentations.  Right click and go to paste.  If you want to save as a picture:  right click and go to “save image as” and save into one of your picture folders.

These are the calling cards.  You will need to cut these apart.

I am going to get prizes for the Bingo winners and for the Blackout winners.  And  I am also going to get prizes for both kids and adults. I think that it will be a fun, friendly little competition!  I am thinking prizes from the dollar store and some food prizes and then a couple of bigger prizes, but I am not sure what.   Any suggestions?

  1. These are soo cute. I often play bingo like this with dimes for markers, and the gkids get to keep the ones they win.

    1. Ooh what a fun idea! I think that the kids both young and old will like that! I am for sure going to do this! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!

    1. What a great idea for prizes! Then they can use them that night! Thank you for taking the time to comment, I love hearing from you!

  2. Your printables are always SO cute! I haven’t printed anything yet because I don’t have a nice color printer but I’m in the market for one. Your prints look GREAT! What color printer do you recommend? Thanks Rita! :)

    1. Deea.
I just had to buy a new printer and I was told by Island Ink that the Canon printers were the best as far as getting the refills. I am not sure if that is true or not because I have not yet had to refill it. The one I bought is a Canon MX410. Is is not an expensive one and I got it at Costco. A lot of times I send my printables out to be printed so they can either be on photo paper or glossy cardstock! I hope this helps.

    1. Thank you for your comment. Yes a lot of work went into that game, but I enjoyed making it and I am glad that you will be able to use it!

  3. These are darling!! Thanks for sharing them. Our family has always used small candy as our markers. Candy corn for Halloween. The red, white, and blue m&m’s would be cute on these, but only if you’re inside! Our temps have been in the 90’s and I don’t care what they say, they’re going to melt. It’s kind of funny with young kids because they’ll end up with no markers left!!

    1. You are welcome, thanks for taking the time to comment! I love hearing from my readers. I agree with the M & M’s outside. Another idea that one reader told me about is using dimes for the markers and then the kids can keep the dimes that they win!

  4. Thanks for this adorable patriotic bingo game! I am going to be playing this at my upcoming July 4th celebration! You are Awesome!!

  6. WOW! Thank you! I plan for and work with 40 individuals each day with intellectual disabilities. I’ve been making a picture Bingo game for each holiday and it is SO time consuming! I appreciate you sharing these! Have a blessed 4th!

  7. Hi ! Beautiful fourth of July Bingo! I was wondering if there was a way to make more calling cards? I need at least 30 for a party.

    1. Christa, I do not have time to make more, but you could copy and paste the calling cards to make as many new cards as you will need. Hope you have a happy 4th!
