This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NECTRESSE™Sweetener. All opinions are 100% mine.
I recieved a sample of Nectresse sweetner to try out and I have to say that I was very pleasantly suprised! It taste like sugar with no aftertaste and then the fact that it has zero calories has me hooked! It is a new product that is 100% natural, made from monk fruit.
I made these yummy Apple Cinnamon Pancakes using Nectress Sweetner and they were really good.
I sprinkled a little of the sweetner on my strawberries and it made them look pretty as well as taste sweet and I do not have to feel guilty about putting it on!
Here is the recipe for Apple Cinnamon Pancakes:
Prep time: 30 minutes
Serves: 6 (2 pancake serving)
Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
6 NECTRESSE Natural No Calorie Sweetener, Packets
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups 1% milk
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped apple
Direction
1. BLEND all dry ingredients (flour through salt) in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
2. WHISK together eggs, vanilla, milk and melted butter. Add to dry ingredients and gently mix. Some lumps are okay. Fold in apples.
3. SPRAY a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
4 POUR 1/3 cup of batter per pancake onto hot griddle. Cook until bubbles appear on top, then flip pancake and cook until golden brown on the other side. Serve hot.
Note
A delicious alternative to apples in this recipe is pears. Additionally, if desired, light butter or margarine an be used in place of butter.
