How many of you out there are Shrimp Lovers??? I have both hands in the air and I am waving them wildly! When I saw this recipe for Lemon Shrimp, I could not wait to try it out! This is one of those recipes that don’t have a recipe! You simply put it together in the amount you need and that is why I love it! I can make this for my husband and I or I can make it for all the troops when they come for Sunday dinner! To make this wildly delicious shrimp, simply slice a lemon and place it on your baking sheet. Melt butter (I used 1/4 cup ) and pour it over the lemons. Add fresh or frozen shrimp that has been thawed out on top of the butter then sprinkle with 1/2 package of dry Italian Seasoning Salad Dressing. Place in 350 degrees oven for 10 minutes. I then turned the oven to broil and let it broil for a couple of minutes to brown the butter to give it that wonderful browned butter flavor! These shrimp were so delicious with the lemon and the butter and the Italian dressing! They made my taste buds sing! I made about 22 large shrimp with these amounts. If you are cooking for a larger group, simply double the recipe or triple it if you need to!
I served this Lemon Shrimp with Jasmine Rice that had chicken bouillon in it and fresh corn on the cob! This is a super easy meal to make. I am ready for summer to come and for easy light meals. These lemon shrimp would also be wonderful on the grill! You could just put them in a grill pan to let them cook!
