Nov 2024 Ministering Handout

Nov 2024 Ministering Handout

Welcome to the month of Gratitude!  Fall is finally in the air here in Utah and as a result I am a happy camper!

This month I chose gratitude for the theme!

And I concentrated on being grateful for a living prophet.  I used the prophet’s talk that he just gave in the Oct 2024 General Conference.  It is titled “The Lord Jesus Christ Will Come Again”.   Didn’t you just LOVE this talk?  I am so excited for when the Savior comes again…I just worry about what more we will have to go through before that happens!  But President Nelson assures us that “The Best is Yet to Come!”

June 2024 Ministering Handout

Let the Summer begin!  I am ready…are you?

This month for the June 2024 ministering handout, I chose the talk from Susan H. Porter: “Pray, He Is There”.   Don’t you love this quote:

“When you know that Heavenly Father is real and that He loves you, you can live with courage and hope!”

Given that it’s summer, I wanted, sunshine-inspired colors to brighten everyone’s day.

May 2024 Ministering Handout

Another month has already gone by, which means it is time for the May 2024 Ministering Handout.

May always seems to be such a busy month, and it is holding true for us again this year.  Besides all of the end of school activities, we have a wedding, lots and lots of doctor appointments, spring cleaning and remodeling, and baseball games!  Whew!  Busy but exciting times.  Continue reading

March 2023 Ministering Handout

March 2023 Ministering Handout

Hi everyone! The old March winds have blown in along with more SNOW!  I know we need it here in Utah…but could it please just snow up in the mountains and not on my driveway!!!  :)

This month for the March 2023 Ministering Handout, I chose a quote from President Russell M. Nelson.  But I found it in the talk from President Ballard, titled “Follow Jesus Christ with Footsteps of Faith”.

There are several things going on in my life right now that are making me think about how strong my faith is and ways that I can increase my faith.  So I have been dwelling on this quite a bit lately. Continue reading

Dec 2022 Ministering Handouts

Merry Christmas everyone!  Hope you enjoy the Dec 2022 Ministering Handouts!

This time of year is always so crazy hectic for me.  It seems like we have all of our activities the first week of Dec!  After that I can usually settle in a little more and enjoy the holidays.  I know that some of you have a hard time with the holidays and I totally get that.  It can be a wonderful time and it can be a very difficult time.  I pray that whatever situation you are in that you will feel the love of the Savior and that he can warm your heart.

This month I chose a talk from the 2011 Christmas Devotional by President Thomas S. Monson.

June 2022 Ministering Handout

I would like to welcome summer with my June 2022 Ministering Handout!

It does not feel like summer yet, here in Utah.  We have had rain and even snow up in the mountains this week.  But we really need the moisture, so nobody is complaining!

Because I grew up in Pleasant Grove, UT, I always think of strawberries in June!  Our town celebrations were called Strawberry Days.  I have some fond memories of my grandpa Jensen coming from Canada and taking us to the carnival…and always buying us a bowl of strawberries and cream!

Thus the handout idea for this month!
