I was invited to a Blogger Mixer & Networking Event at Ikea. It was so much fun to make some new blogging friends and to be able preview some of the new displays at Ikea and get a sneak peek at their new catalog! I planted a hydrangea bush last spring because I love the big balls of blossoms that they produce. I found a beautiful pink one and I have loved it all summer long. But little did I know that when the blossoms die they fade into a beautiful green and yellow color! Have any of you made these fun “Lollies”? I saw them over at Heartland Paper and decided I wanted to try them out. I think that they are called “lollies”, because you can also put them on a stick and then they look like a lollipop!

So I went to the Heartland Paper Store in Woods Cross, UT a couple of weekends ago and got some wonderful double-sided card stock paper and look at how festive they turned out!

I am so excited about this project because the main material used is RIBBON, and you all know how I feel about ribbon! :)

I am using this as part of my decor for outside on my front porch but you could use it in so many other ways. They would be great as decorations for a party or shower, you could do it in a color theme for all the different holidays.
