I posted on Instagram that I went to a Vintage Market last weekend, so today I thought that I would share my Vintage Finds! This market was fun, but I do have to admit that it was just a little bit overwhelming to me.
I loved everything there and so to pick just a few items was hard to do!Do any of you know what the green metal things on the bottom right corner are? They are called flower frogs and they are used in flower arranging.
I will use the round one as a picture holder and I am sure that you will see it in some future posts. It will be perfect for the VT handout! These bottles full of vintage buttons are perfect for display in my sewing room and they will also be fun little gifts!I picked up a grab bag and all of these fun goodies were in it! I am super excited to find a place for them in my sewing room. They will make a great display! The thing I loved the most in this grab bag was this old needle book! It even has about half of the needles still in it! I remember my mom having something like this! This was the favorite of all my vintage finds! I absolutely love this old ladder and all of the chippy paint and the wire support!
I am trying to decide where it will go…either up in my sewing room to stack quilts or fabric on…or up to the cabin to store quilts! Right now, the sewing room is winning, because I will use it more and see it more!On the way out of the Vintage Market they had a bunch of bottles and tons of fresh flowers. You could pick which bottle you wanted and what blooms you wanted and they arranged them for you! I love this!
But I have to tell you a funny story about on the way to the Vintage Market. I was driving along and I saw a quilt and fabric yard sale sign. I am not quite sure how it happened, but my car did a U-turn and went back! :) This is what I found:There were all kinds of quilts made up, but I was more interested in the fabrics. They were a bargain price and so I decided to get a few pieces! (I am already using my ladder for pictures!)I bought several fat quarter pieces and some ribbon and I have an idea of what I might use these for already!
So those are my Vintage Finds…and my fabric finds!
Sounds like you had lots of fun….
…….and you didn’t even call to ask me to tag along. Why? Are you angry with me? LOL
Bev, I didn’t even know that you liked vintage fairs!! :)
Where was the vintage market you went to?
