Nov. 2015 Visiting Teaching Handout

I know I am a couple of days early…but I thought no one would mind… for my Nov. 2015 Visiting Teaching Handout for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!Nov. 2015 VT HandoutThis month you are supposed to pick one of the conference talks to give for your message, so I decided that it would be fun to make a pocket to put a copy of the talk that you pick and a small treat!
Nov. 2015 VT handoutI chose to put a packet of apple cider and a salted caramel stirring spoon into my pocket! You could put a candy bar, a hot chocolate mix, a picture of the prophet, a recipe, a cookie, a service gift certificate or personalize it for the sisters you visit!

So now you have several options that you can use for the Nov. 2015 Visiting Teaching Handout!  To make the salted caramel spoon, simply dip a spoon into melted caramel filling the spoon up, scrape the bottom of the spoon and place on a piece of parchment paper.  I put a knife under the handle of the spoon to keep it level until the caramel was set.  Sprinkle a small amount of kosher salt on the caramel before it sets up.Nov. 2015 VT handoutAs always…remember that it is the visit that is important…not the handout!   I hope that we can all have grateful hearts this month as we go out to visit and that our sisters will feel our love for them!

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Visiting!

The images for these handouts are from “justsoscrappy.com”, from the “Almost Fall” collection.  They are used with a CU licence.
