We are doing a 40 Conference Reading Challenge in our Relief Society for church. I volunteered to make the bookmarks for this reading challenge and wanted to share it with you… for those of you that would like to do this also! You read one conference talk per day for 40 days in a row!

Meet the Mormons
My husband and I went to see the movie “Meet the Mormons”
For those of you that do not know from reading my blog…I am a Mormon.
I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
This movie is very powerful and moving. Everyone has different ideas of what “Mormons are all about. This movie tells some of the things that we believe, and follows 6 different people from all around the world , who are Mormons. Their stories are all very inspirational and moving!
Check out this short trailer!
There is also a beautiful song by David Archuleta called “Glorious”
you can download it here.
Hope you enjoy this! If any of you have any questions about my church, I would love to try to answer them for you! Please contact me.
Hope you have a great day everyone! Thanks for visiting!
September 2014 Visiting Teaching Handout
Before I begin my post with the visiting teaching message, I would like to wish you all a very safe and fun Labor Day! It is always fun to celebrate the last summer weekend and I hope that you get to spend it with someone you love…doing something that you love to do! I spent the weekend at my most favorite boutique…Swiss Days! I will share some of my finds with you tomorrow. But let’s get on with the visiting teaching message for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints:
June 2014 Visiting Teaching Handout
It’s time once again for the visiting teaching handout for my church.
This month the message is Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Minister.
I really love this message this month, because so many great things happen when we minister to each other! We truly can be the answer to other people’s prayers and what a great feeling that is! I chose to focus on the quote from David L. Beck:
April Conference Snack Tags
This weekend is the General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the Mormons). I love conference weekend and look forward to it every six months! For those of you that want to know what conference is all about…you can check it out here.
I love conference weekend, because we can stay home and watch it on TV (in our jamies, if we choose to!) Sometimes we have all of our families together and sometimes my husband and I just watch it together. But there is always a great spirit in our home and I love the messages that are taught and the things that I can learn!
I have already downloaded and printed my conference packet from Sugardoodle and I have my conference notebook ready to go.. to take notes…doodle…and just enjoy the weekend!
It is always a must to have some great treats or food while watching conference! :)
So I decided that I would make some fun tags to go along with your conference goodies! These are fun to pass along to your VT sisters, or to make for your family, or friends! You can tie them onto individual serving size packages for everyone, or make one big package for the whole family!
Our Arizona Trip
My husband and I went on our annual trip to Arizona! We were gone about 10 days and we had a great time. We have been making this trip for about 7 or 8 years now! We go down for baseball Spring Training, (or at least that is what my husband goes for!) I go for the wonderfully warm weather and to just get away from it all!
Printable Party Invite
Happy Thursday Everyone!
I do not have a thought for you today, but I do have a printable for you!
I had to make the invites for our Relief Society Birthday activity for church, so I decided that I would share it with you. You could use this for any party…all you have to do is add the information!
To print, right click over the image and go to “save image as” then save in a folder. Or you can right click over the image and go to “copy image”, then open your favorite program like Word or Presentations and right click again and go to “paste”. Or you can send this out to your favorite photo processing center, which is what I did! This is formatted to a 4 x 6 card.
This is the invitation that I made, I included it so you could see how I added the information to this card.
So does anyone have a party coming up that they need an invitation for?
I worked on this Relief Society activity all day yesterday, so that I will be ready for it next week!
I had to make some little fold-overs for the table centerpieces… but I got them all done so now I can move on to my next project, right? :)
I hope that you are all having a great Thursday!
The weekend is just around the corner! Yeah!
Have a great day everyone! Love Ya!
