The original post said to use your leftover Halloween candy, but you could use any of these recipes before Halloween for your parties, get together’s or for a fun family night! These recipes are also great to give away as gifts for the holidays. Many of these recipes can be changed up just a little bit and you could use them for any time of the year!

I remember making this cake many years ago. It is a very rich, moist, cake…just the way I love cake to be! It also has a cooked, ganache-type icing that is irresistable!
I have not made it for a long time, but when I saw a post somewhere out there in blog land, it reminded me of how much I used to love it and I decided to make it again… and it did not disappoint!
I usually do not make cake unless I know that I will have others here to help eat it, because my husband and I cannot eat a whole cake. But with this cake we both could not get enough and I found that we were keeping track of who had eaten a piece! You definitely cannot eat just one piece-I dare you to try!
