July 4th 2017 Party
We had our July 4th 2017 party yesterday. It was kind of an impromptu party because I was not sure how many of us were even going to be around!
This year is kind of a super long holiday weekend with July 4th being on Tuesday!
It seems like everyone has been celebrating for a week! Continue reading

Last weekend my husband and I took a quick trip to St. George in Southern Utah. One of the reasons we went was to take two of our grandsons for a Bass Fishing Trip!
I don’t know a whole lot about it, other than the fact that they were very pumped about going!
They were entered into a Bass Fishing Tournament at Sand Hollow! Continue reading

This year I decided to use the “Book of Mormon for Young Readers”
I feel like I have been on a bit of a roller coaster ride these last three weeks. I had a great weekend. My husband and I went up to our cabin, the leaves along the way were breathtaking as we drove up the canyon!I could not believe all the beautiful colors…everywhere we looked!
I went to Swiss Days in MidwayIt was a crazy mad house like always, but my daughter joined me and we did a little shopping! I was able to meet the cute lady behind the Mormon Mom Planner! I did not get my planner yet because she told me they are coming out with a new one that is perfect for empty nesters…like me! :) I can’t wait to see it! If you love a good planner like I do, check out the Mormon Mom Planner. She also has one that is a general planner for those that do not want the “Mormon” part! :) They are very reasonably priced, they have lots of room to write and organize your day and they are darling! Check them out!
After I got back home, I did some laundry and cleaned things up a bit then I went to the Dixie Chicks Concert with my daughter and granddaughter that night! We went to dinner first and then to a fun concert! It was outdoors and the weather was beautiful!
So that is what I did last weekend…I hope that you were able to do something fun with the ones that you love too!
Here in Utah it is a holiday weekend…it is Pioneer Days, our state holiday! Celebrating when the pioneers first arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. We had our Pioneer Days Celebration by spending a couple of days at our cabin and then up at our hunting property! We have added a pavilion on the property with a fire pit, so of course we had to roast hot dogs and make smores! Continue reading
