I have a super fun Beginning Cross Stitch Project that is perfect for learning to embroider! My friend, Sharee, did this for her Activity Day Girls and every girl was able to make a darling pillow! Sharee told me how she did it and I did one for my granddaughter to work on while we were on our St. George Get-Away.

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope that you are having a great day on this Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I am just recuperating from a fun, whirlwind weekend with 5 of my darling grandkids! I know why you raise your own children while you are young! :) We had a great time together and hopefully they had a fun time!

Right before Christmas I got a quilt kit to make a “Snowman Quilt”, at one of my local quilt shops. It was on sale and I decided that it would be a fun one to put together for the winter months. It was really easy to put together and I brought my portable machine down to the family room and I sewed in the afternoon and evenings while we watched Christmas movies!
I have a snowman collection that I put out as soon as Christmas comes down, so this snowman quilt is perfect to go with this collection!

I hope that you all had a great Christmas and that you are still enjoying the holidays! We had a beautiful white Christmas and the snow just seems to sparkle in the sunshine! It is so beautiful! This is outside my dining room window with my Christmas ornaments in the window.
So now is the perfect time to put out my Winter Bench Pillow! I love the whimsy of this pillow and it is perfect for after Christmas and I can leave it out until spring!
