I have a fun little idea for you today. Even if you say that you are not crafty, you can do this project! My grand kids love it and I am sure that your kiddos will too!
This is on my back door where every one goes in and out of my house. So when anyone comes or leaves, they usually have to rearrange the spiders. Me included! But it is so fun to see where everyone wants to put them. Some arrange them very artistically and others want to bunch them all together!
To make this fun door I bought a spider web at the dollar store. I thought that I would have to hot glue the magnets to the back, but it has a wire running all the way around the outside, so I just had to place the magnets where I wanted them to hold up the spider web! I bought these spiders at a boutique, but you could just use the plastic ones you get at the dollar store or cut the backs off some spider rings. Hot glue a magnet to the back and you are all set!
I add this Eeek! vinyl, but you could cut some letters out of scrapbook paper and use magnets to hold them in place.
Isn’t (S)he cute?
My grand kids both young and old, have had fun arranging and rearranging these spiders all over the door. Even the littlest one has had fun with them after he realized that they were not real! :)
What fun and easy Halloween decoration have you done? I would love to hear about them.
Love Ya!
