Happy Halloween From our House to Yours!
We had our family Halloween party last night and the kids all had a great time! We had a football player, a witch, Cleopatra, a giant Elmo??, an owl, Gene Simmons and a bat! Aren’t they a fun group?
We had chili and homemade chicken noodle soup along with salad and bread sticks and a witch’s brew with bloody hands! There was a whole candy bar…isn’t that what Halloween is all about…the candy?and more candy…There were candy for the little kids and candy for the big kids…I made the “Boo” boxes with my Silhouette machine and I put salted caramels in them for the adults. The adults also got an apple pie caramel apple!
We played Halloween bowling, pin the heart on the skeleton, and of course the famous “Grandma’s fishing pond!” All in all, we had a great time and this grandma is so glad that it is done for one more year! :)The star of the show is our darling little owl! She is just starting to talk and say things and her favorite thing to say is: “whoo, whoo”…so when her mom saw this owl costume, she just had to get it!
Do you have a Halloween party planned? Or do you have to help with a school party or a church social or even need an idea for FHE? Here are a couple of other games that you could use:
Don’t Eat Jack, Halloween Tic Tac Toe, and Halloween Bingo.
If you need some party favors, check out the Halloween Party Pack and the Candy Corn Boxes
Wow, that was some party….all the Halloween decorations and food look marvelous….you did a fantastic job…
Roswitha, thank you so much for your kind comment. The party was fun and it seems like since I started the tradition I am finding it hard to quit! But I guess as long as the kids still love it…I will keep doing it. I had my oldest granddaughter help me with the decorating and she loved helping, but not quite as much as I loved her helping me!
That looks totally awesome! What great ideas and what great fun!
You are wonderful!
Mary Roth, thank you so much for your kind comment. I don’t know about the wonderful part…it is more like insane! :) But the kids love it every year and once I started it, I find it hard to quit! So I will continue the tradition for a while longer!
Awww, that is such a fun tradition, but with “baby owl”, you’re in it for the long haul. LOL Lucky those grand kids.
I laughed when you said you were so happy with the oldest granddaughter’s help……..made ME tired just seeing all that you had done.
What is “Grandma’s fishing pond?
