August 2018 Ministering Handout

The summer is simply flying by and it is already time for the August 2018 Ministering Handout!  I have been tinkering with some watercolor images, and thought it would be a fun change from some of my other cards.

Tell me what you think??  Are these a fun change?

The message that I chose is from a talk by President  Dieter F. Uchtdorf, (do we still call him President, or is the proper term now Elder?)

Of Things That Matter Most

Here is one of the paragraphs that I picked:

“Let’s be honest; it’s rather easy to be busy. We all can think up a list of tasks that will overwhelm our schedules. Some might even think that their self-worth depends on the length of their to-do list. They flood the open spaces in their time with lists of meetings and minutia—even during times of stress and fatigue. Because they unnecessarily complicate their lives, they often feel increased frustration, diminished joy, and too little sense of meaning in their lives.”

I feel like this talk was written specifically for me!!!  I need to work on slowing down.  Anyone else out there feel like this??

If you have time, this is a great talk to read and review again!  This is the printable card.  For those of you that would like the jpeg image, simply right click over the image and go to “save image as”, then save in a folder.

You can print from there, or send it out to your favorite photo processing center. And here is the blank card for those of you that would like to translate.  Or for those of you that need a cute little handout, note card or invite!

As always, all of my printables are for personal use only.  They are NOT for resale.

We have a new Trader Joe’s in our area, so I thought it would be fun to share a treat from there…these Jo Joe’s are perfect!

You could add any treat, something from your garden, flowers, trinkets or just a card in the mail is fun!

So that is my August 2018 Ministering Handout.

Please remember that it is the visit that is important…not the handout!

Make sure the sisters you minister to, know how much you love and care about them!

Thanks for Visiting…Happy Ministering!
