Happy Holidays Everyone! Today I have a wonderful side dish for you…Italian Ranch Mushrooms! These little morsels are so yummy…that is if you like mushrooms! They have the perfect balance of spices and the richness of butter in them.My daughter first brought these to one of our family dinners and I have made them two more times for dinner…they are that good! These Italian Ranch Mushrooms are so easy to make and only have 4 ingredients.
- 2 lb whole white mushrooms, cleaned
- 1 (1oz) packet Ranch dressing mix
- 1 (0.7oz) Italian dressing mix
- 1/2 cup butter
- Clean mushrooms and cut in half or quarter, depending on the size. If they are small you can just leave them whole. Put everything in a large heavy pot and let simmer on low heat for 1/2 to one hour.
- You can also cook the mushrooms in a crock pot on low heat for 3-4 hours.
You could use these Italian Ranch Mushrooms as a wonderful side dish or you could insert toothpicks into each mushroom and use them for an appetizer! So they are a very versatile dish! You can also put the mushrooms in a crock pot and cook slowly for several hours, or put them in a big pot and cook them on the stove top! Either way they are equally delicious!I love this picture with the steam still coming off these mushroom! They are making my mouth water just looking at them!
Do you need a delicious side or appetizer for the upcoming holiday! This is a super easy recipe to prepare and there are not a lot of ingredients so you can whip these Italian Ranch Mushrooms together even with all the hustle and bustle!

Yeah! I am glad that someone else’s family loves them too! I made a relish plate with raw mushrooms on Christmas day and I kept thinking how good they would taste if I made this recipe instead! :)
